I would like my music magazine to be published by a company like 'Bauer' (which is currently the largest privately owned publisher in all of Europe). An advantage of using 'Bauer' is that it is them that publish other music magazines such as 'Kerrang!' and 'Q magazine'. Also, 'Bauer' has a distribution agreement with many magazine selling stores in the UK and internationally. And therefore my magazine would be available from almost anywhere from the village post office to supermarkets such as 'Tesco' and 'Salisbury's'. However there are many disadvantages with using 'Bauer' as a publishing firm. These disadvantages include due the size of the company it would cost a lot of money to sign up and use them. And unless my magazine is successful I fear I wouldn't be able to pay the publishing fees and therefore I'd have to find a cheaper alternative.
In order to advertise my magazine i plan to advertise on all the most used websites on the Internet at the present, these include: 'Facebook', 'Twitter' and 'Tumblr' etc. This way my magazine in theory should create a larger audience: as my target audience are highly likely to spend a lot of time on the computer on social network sites such as the ones i plan to advertise on.
